Shoes shoes shoes...are by far one of the most difficult things to organize with limited space because as I have found, most of my clients have way too many shoes for their space, but they don't want to get rid of any of them! Sound familiar?
One easy fix you can do to save a little room and to make it look cool too, is to store shoes heel to toe.
But after you have squeezed in every last pair without it looking cluttered, you have to turn to creative out-of-the-closet solutions for them. There are so many ideas out there and each situation is different, but an under the bed solution is often the best answer.
A simple DIY under the bed board on wheels can solve the shoe issue, such as this one from IKEA. There are endless under the bed storage solutions, and if you're not the DIY type, I am quite sure there are carts you can buy that would work.
Here's another interesting possibility I just recently saw...a rotating shoe shelf that holds 35 pairs. Pretty cool if you have a spot for it. It sounds like it may be best for smaller women's shoes, so look into the details before investing!
